A Day in the Bunnies Habitat

Home / A Day in the Bunnies Habitat
Here is a simple guide to the main structure of our day:

Although at Bright Bunnies Day Care we do have a structure to our day, we believe that the children should be the main priority and as such we follow their lead. Each child is a unique individual that learns at their own pace. We choose activities to enhance those unique abilities.

We focus on purposeful learning, in an active, stimulating environment where children can “Play, Learn and Achieve”. We have exceptional environments where children become competent learners and explorers.

Throughout the day we encourage children to participate in a variety of experiences to enable them to develop the foundations for a successful future and a life time of learning. Daily routines are developed around personal care, rest, meals and active learning opportunities.  Our environments and routines are structured to enable children to:

Play and explore

Learn actively

Develop critical thinking

Our experience and understanding of children in their formative years sets us aside from others with our skilled practitioners who will plan for your child’s learning through observations, planning and assessments to create activities based around their interests with adult led and child initiated play. All learning opportunities will support and reflect the areas of learning from the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’, providing them with the essential skills and knowledge for their overall development.

Prime areas of learning are:
Communication and Language

Physical Development

Personal, Social and Emotional

Specific areas of learning are:
Literacy

Expressive art and design

Mathematics

Understanding of the World

Our activities and experiences are endless, and your child may engage in:

Messy play, baking, stories, construction, sensory play, dough, singing, painting, sand, water play, role play, planting, puppets, dolls, dance, outdoor play in our magical outdoor classrooms and many more! The sky is the limit where learning and teaching is key to success and development.

You will receive personal feedback daily on your child’s learning, achievements, targets and personal care with opportunities to participate in our stay and play sessions and parents evening.

Take a look at our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages to find out what kinds of activities we get up to.
